We should not forget tourists either, who sometimes choose destinations based on the quality of the internet connection because their work requires it.

Starlink is fast and stable satellite internet, used primarily in places where cable/mobile infrastructure is not stable enough or does not exist (e.g. in the Kornati islands or Telašćica). It is worth pointing out that the number of tourists in a given place does not affect speed and stability, as can be the case with mobile internet.

If you don't know anything about Starlink, that's fine. We will explain everything in a way you understand, so you can use it on your own.

Frequently asked questions

  1. We currently offer Starlink installation in Zagreb and the surrounding area (Zagorje, Jastrebarsko), as well as in Zadar and the islands of the Zadar archipelago (Dugi otok, Ugljan, Pašman, Rava, Iž). For other areas, feel free to contact us or look for installers who work in your area.

  2. If you already have a sufficiently stable and fast connection, there is no reason to switch to Starlink. One possible advantage is that you can use and pay for it only during part of the year. Starlink is primarily intended for areas where fibre is not available and mobile internet does not always have a stable signal. A perfect example are islands where internet is delivered over copper lines, so high speeds are not possible, and in summer, when large numbers of tourists arrive, mobile internet is not stable enough.

  3. In Croatia, a monthly Starlink subscription costs 29€ for 100 Mbps, 39€ for 200 Mbps and 59€ for 400+ Mbps. All plans include unlimited data.

  5. Yes, Starlink often runs promotions on its website where you can get the hardware for free when signing a 12-month contract.

  6. Yes. During the season, earthworks and structural work on buildings are generally prohibited, but the installation only requires a few holes, so it is not particularly noisy.

  7. For Starlink to work at your location, the installation spot needs a clear view of the sky with no obstructions (e.g. a tree), the possibility of attaching a mount to the roof, and a way to run the network cable from the power adapter to the antenna.

  8. No, Starlink does not solve this problem. If you have issues with Wi-Fi signal strength inside the building, there are other devices that can distribute the signal evenly.

  9. No problem, a single Starlink device is enough, and the network can be extended to all buildings using additional devices (access points).

  10. Of course, but it is important to position the Starlink antenna so that it has a clear view of the sky without obstructions (e.g. a neighbour's balcony).

  11. The Starlink router does not have a WPS button, so air conditioners and other smart devices are connected through the manufacturer's app for that device.

  12. Of course - Starlink is designed exactly for such areas. If you have, for example, an off-grid holiday house and generate electricity with solar panels, Starlink will be an excellent solution.

  13. Yes, Starlink delivers a stable connection at the speed of your subscription plan in all conditions.

  14. If uninterrupted internet access is important to you, Starlink can be installed as a backup option. A great advantage is that you do not have to pay for the Starlink subscription all the time; you can activate it within a few minutes only when you need it.

  15. If you have a Smart TV with internet access, you can install the EON app on your TV. It works similarly to MaxTV and offers more than 70 channels for 6,90€ per month.
